Contec 300G ECG – 3 Channel & Interpretation

The Contec ECG300G is a 3-channel electrocardiograph that acquires all 12-lead ECG signals and outputs them via a built-in thermal printer. It supports auto and manual recording modes, provides automated ECG measurement and interpretation, operates on both AC and rechargeable DC power, and connects to a PC via USB for remote data analysis and management.

Contec 300G ECG – 3 Channel & Interpretation

12-Lead Acquisition with 3-Channel Thermal Print Output
The ECG300G collects the complete 12-lead ECG signal simultaneously and prints waveforms in 3-channel format using a 32 dot/mm thermal printing system on 80 mm wide paper. Signal quality is maintained through a 1000 Hz sampling rate, 12-bit A/D conversion, EMG interference filtering at 25 Hz or 35 Hz (-3 dB), and an AC interference filter at 50 Hz or 60 Hz (≥20 dB). CMRR exceeds 60 dB, rising to >100 dB with the filter active, and noise level is held below 15 µVp-p. The input circuit is floating with defibrillation protection and an enduring polarisation voltage tolerance of ±500 mV, meeting Class I, Type CF applied part safety requirements.

Automated Analysis, Multi-Language Support, and Case Management
In Auto mode, the ECG300G automatically records, measures, and diagnoses ECG waveform parameters, with lead selection and paper advancement managed by the device. Manual mode allows the clinician to select any rhythm lead and control recording directly. Paper speed is selectable from 5 to 50 mm/s and sensitivity from 5 to 40 mm/mV, with an Auto sensitivity option. The device provides prompts for lead-off and paper-out conditions, supporting uninterrupted clinical workflows. A built-in case database allows storage and management of recorded ECGs, and a multi-language interface supports use across diverse clinical environments.

AC/DC Power and USB PC Connectivity
The ECG300G operates from AC mains (220 V/50 Hz or 110 V/60 Hz) or a built-in 7.4 V / 3700 mAh rechargeable lithium polymer battery, supporting use in ward environments and community outreach settings where mains access may be intermittent. USB connectivity enables real-time ECG transmission to a connected PC, supporting remote data analysis, diagnosis, case management, and printing through compatible software. This connectivity makes the ECG300G well suited to general practice settings where ECG data needs to be integrated into electronic health records or reviewed by a remote specialist.
