International Standard 12-Lead 24-Hour Holter Monitoring

The CONTEC TLC5000 is a 24-hour dynamic ECG (Holter) system built on the international standard 12-lead configuration ? the same lead system used for diagnostic resting ECGs. This makes the TLC5000 the highest-specification Holter option in the CONTEC range, providing a full 12-channel ambulatory recording that captures all cardiac electrical vectors simultaneously over the 24-hour monitoring period. The recording hardware uses the same physical platform as the TLC9803 ? a compact OLED recorder with 160?128 display, inbuilt TF card up to 2GB for uncompressed original data storage, event marking, waveform preview and record review ? with 12-lead electrode connectivity replacing the 3-lead configuration. Data transfer to the PC analysis software via USB 2.0 takes an average of less than 40 seconds per case. The 12-lead Holter standard enables comparison of ambulatory recordings against standard resting ECG traces in the same lead system, simplifying clinical correlation.

Comprehensive Analysis Software: HRV, AFib, ST, Pacemaker and Beyond

The TLC5000 PC analysis software includes the full feature set of the TLC9803 ? more than 10 arrhythmia templates (atrial premature, ventricular premature, long interval, atrial flutter, atrial fibrillation and user-defined), flexible AFib analysis (full, segmented automatic and manual), HRV analysis across short (5-min), medium (1-hour) and full 24-hour domains, advanced ST segment analysis and myocardial ischemia total load, pacemaker analysis (AAI, VVI, DDD), sleep apnea prediction, HRT analysis and T-wave alternation analysis. In addition, the TLC5000 extends the analysis repertoire with QT discrete degree analysis, ventricular late potential analysis, vector ECG analysis and time vector analysis ? providing specialist-level additional analysis functions that increase the diagnostic reference value of the Holter report.

12-Lead Holter for South African Cardiac Diagnostic Practice

The clinical advantages of 12-lead Holter monitoring over 3-lead systems include improved detection of ischaemic events (particularly inferior and lateral wall changes), better localisation of arrhythmia origin and improved pacemaker analysis accuracy. These advantages make the TLC5000 the preferred choice for South African cardiology units, electrophysiology services and internal medicine departments that require full diagnostic-grade ambulatory ECG monitoring. Vital Medical supplies the TLC5000 to South African healthcare facilities requiring comprehensive 12-lead Holter monitoring for advanced cardiac investigation and arrhythmia risk stratification.
