Size 4 is a transitional or large adult resuscitation mask, providing a facial seal for adults with smaller faces or as an alternative to the size 5 adult mask in certain patient anatomies. The transparent construction allows continuous visual monitoring of the patient’s lips and oral cavity during ventilation ? enabling early detection of regurgitation or cyanosis.
