The CANTA V10-W-NS is a 10-litre high-flow oxygen concentrator designed for clinical settings where flow rates above the 5 L/min ceiling of standard home-type concentrators are required. ICUs, high-care units, emergency departments, post-operative recovery bays, and respiratory therapy services frequently prescribe 6–10 L/min oxygen flow rates for the management of severe hypoxaemia, respiratory failure, and high-acuity step-down care — and the V10-W-NS delivers these flow rates continuously across its full 0.5–10 L/min range at a therapeutic purity of 93±3%. The concentrator uses Pressure Swing Adsorption (PSA) molecular sieve technology to extract oxygen directly from ambient air, producing a continuous mains-powered oxygen supply that eliminates dependence on cylinder procurement, cylinder storage, and exchange logistics.
Safety Monitoring, Construction, and Design Features
The V10-W-NS is equipped with an LCD display showing operating parameters and running hours for maintenance scheduling, and an active alarm system covering power failure, low oxygen purity, and overheating — the three primary safety events associated with continuous-flow concentrator operation. The molecular sieve tank is water- and dust-proof, protecting the sieve material from the contamination that degrades purity output over time. A top tray provides integrated storage for accessories, and the large internal chassis design facilitates faster internal air cooling during continuous operation — supporting the sustained duty cycle required in clinical environments. Operating noise is rated at ≤55 dB. Optional additions include a flow splitter (supporting up to five simultaneous outlets), a nebulizer function, and an SpO2 sensor.
