Clinical Design and Display

The Creative PC-900Plus is a compact tabletop vital signs monitor engineered for spot-check and continuous automatic monitoring in hospital wards, outpatient clinics, frail care facilities, and home-care settings. At the centre of its design is a 7-inch high-resolution colour TFT touchscreen that delivers large, colour-coded numeric readouts of SpO2, pulse rate, and NIBP, allowing clinical staff to assess patient status at a glance. The interface is intentionally straightforward, supporting rapid patient throughput without requiring extensive training. The monitor is supplied with an adult reusable NIBP cuff and an adult soft silicone SpO2 sensor, and the housing can be wiped down between patients, supporting standard infection-control practice.

Monitoring Parameters, Alarms, and Data Management

The PC-900Plus is available in three configurations to match the monitoring requirements of different clinical environments:

• PC-900SN — SpO2, Pulse Rate, and NIBP
• PC-900SNT — SpO2, Pulse Rate, NIBP, and Temperature
• PC-900SNTE — SpO2, Pulse Rate, NIBP, Temperature, and ECG

Each configuration supports adult and paediatric pre-set patient modes, with fully customisable audio and visual alarms for all measured parameters. Historical data is stored onboard across up to 12,000 NIBP measurement groups and 3,000 SpO2 groups, and can be reviewed directly on the device in waveform, list, or graphic trend format. The patient ID entry facility and programmable Nurse Call function support structured clinical workflows, while an optional built-in thermal printer enables physical printouts of historical data and trend graphs where hard-copy documentation is required.

Connectivity, Power, and Safety

Data export is achieved via USB connectivity to Creative Data Manager Software, enabling straightforward integration with clinical record-keeping and audit processes. The device incorporates a built-in rechargeable lithium battery delivering six hours of continuous runtime, with a built-in power save function to extend operational life between charges. The PC-900Plus is protected against defibrillator discharge and electrosurgical interference, making it suitable for use in acute and high-acuity environments. It carries FDA 510(k) clearance and CE certification, and is covered by a two-year manufacturer’s warranty. Available in South Africa from Vital Medical.
