6-Parameter Monitoring Across Adult, Paediatric, and Neonatal Patients
The CMS6000 monitors ECG, respiration (RESP), SpO2, pulse rate (PR), NIBP, and dual-channel temperature (T1, T2, TD) from a single integrated unit. Up to 8 waveform channels and all parameter values are displayed simultaneously on the 8.4″ TFT colour LCD ? giving the bedside clinician a complete, real-time physiological picture without toggling between screens. The unit is configured for adult, paediatric, and neonatal patient monitoring, making it suitable across ward, ICU, HDU, and theatre recovery settings without requiring separate devices for different patient populations.
ECG with Arrhythmia Analysis and ST-Segment Detection
The 5-lead ECG module captures HR, ECG waveform, arrhythmia classification, and ST-segment analysis ? going beyond basic heart rate monitoring to support continuous rhythm surveillance. Sweep speeds of 12.5, 25, and 50 mm/s are selectable, and the system is protected against electrosurgical interference and defibrillation discharge (4000VAC/50Hz isolation). NIBP is measured by oscillometry in manual, automatic, and STAT modes, reporting systolic, diastolic, and mean arterial pressure in mmHg or kPa. SpO2 measures 0?100% with ?2-digit accuracy in the 70?100% range, with a plethysmogram waveform and bar graph display.
Network Connectivity, Data Management, and Optional Expansion
The CMS6000 integrates with the CONTECcentral monitoring system via wired or wireless network, enabling multi-bed central surveillance from a nursing station. Trend data storage, alarm event marking, and drug concentration calculation are built in. An optional 48mm thermal printer allows on-demand hard-copy output of waveforms and parameters. Optional parameters ? invasive blood pressure (IBP) and end-tidal CO2 (EtCO2) ? allow the unit to be configured for higher-acuity monitoring requirements. A built-in replaceable battery supports safe patient transport between departments.
