The MS3500’s sloped-edge infant tray is designed to safely cradle and contain infants during weighing, reducing the risk of rolling while providing a comfortable surface. With a 20kg capacity and dual graduation ? 5g increments below 10kg and 10g increments above ? the scale captures precise weight data across the full range from newborn through toddler. The removable tray allows the platform to be used as a standing toddler scale when the child is old enough to balance independently, extending the clinical life of the unit beyond infancy.

Hold and Tare Functions for Accurate Clinical Readings
The hold function locks the displayed weight once a stable measurement is achieved ? essential when weighing infants who move during measurement. The tare function zeroes out the weight of a blanket, nappy, or other item placed on the tray before the infant, ensuring net body weight is recorded without manual subtraction. Optional Stadiometer and Wireless EMR Integration
Compatible optional stadiometers (HM80DT or HM100D) attach directly to the scale and display height results on the LCD screen, with measurements transferable wirelessly alongside weight data. Wireless data transfer to compatible EMR systems via Charder Connect software eliminates manual transcription of weight and height into patient records ? reducing documentation errors and saving consultation time.
