The Alcoscan AL-2500 Prime Personal Breathalyser (VM-ATAL2500P) is designed for quick, discreet breath alcohol checks without accessories or setup. A single button powers the device on and initiates the measurement — no mouthpiece is required, and no configuration is needed before use. A visible countdown display shows the device processing as it analyses the breath sample before delivering the result. The semiconductor sensor measures breath alcohol content across three units: 0.00–4.00‰, 0.00–0.40% BAC, and 0.00–2.00 mg/l BrAC, giving the user a result in the measurement format most familiar to them.
Backlit Display, Acoustic Alarm, and Battery Management
The backlit digital display ensures the result is clearly readable in low-light conditions, including at night or in dimly lit environments. A three-level acoustic alarm — three tones matched to the level of the displayed reading — provides an additional alert without requiring the user to focus on the screen. A battery charge indicator warns before power is depleted, and automatic shutdown prevents unnecessary battery drain between uses. The device is powered by AA batteries, which are included in the box.
