After a warm-up period of under 10 seconds, the AT6880 delivers a result within 5 seconds of breath sample collection — a fast response that supports efficient screening in high-throughput settings. The auto power-off function conserves battery life between tests, and the low battery indicator provides advance warning before power failure. The fast resume time means the unit is ready for consecutive tests without extended waiting between subjects, making it practical for screening multiple individuals in sequence. The AT6880 is powered by 2× AAA alkaline batteries (not included) and operates across an ambient temperature range of 5–40°C.
