The Hi-Care FT-100D Infrared Forehead Thermometer (VM-THIRF / FT-100D) delivers body temperature results in under 1 second without any skin contact, at a measuring distance of 1–3cm from the forehead. No probe covers are required, no patient discomfort is involved, and no cooperation is needed beyond proximity to the sensor — making it well-suited for rapid temperature screening across all age groups, from newborns to elderly patients. The tricolor illuminated LCD display provides an immediate, intuitive fever alert: green indicates a normal temperature, orange signals a low-grade fever, and red signals a high fever. This colour-coded feedback enables rapid visual triage in clinic waiting areas, schools, workplaces, and screening environments where multiple individuals must be assessed quickly, without the clinician or screener needing to interpret a numeric value in real time. Surface mode measures object and surface temperatures from 0–60°C with ±1°C accuracy, useful for checking bottle or milk temperature, surface hygiene monitoring, and equipment surface temperature screening. Room mode measures ambient temperature from 0–40°C with ±0.5°C accuracy, supporting environmental temperature documentation in clinical facilities and cold chain compliance checks.
