What Is the Silicone Child CP Resuscitator?
The VM-RSSCSCP is the CP (Carry Pack) version of the Vital Medical silicone paediatric resuscitator, supplied in a carry bag with a set of masks for immediate deployment. Designed for paediatric patients in the 10?30kg weight range, this resuscitator delivers controlled tidal volumes through a 550ml (?200ml) silicone bag with a stroke volume of ?150ml. The pressure limiting valve (35?50cmH2O) prevents airway barotrauma during manual ventilation of the paediatric chest.
Technical Performance
At the recommended supplementary oxygen flow rate of 15L/min, the child CP resuscitator delivers an FiO2 of ?85% with a tidal volume of 150ml at 25 BPM ? meeting the respiratory requirements of a paediatric patient in cardiac arrest or respiratory failure. The 1600ml reservoir bag provides adequate oxygen volume buffering at this flow rate. The ISO5356-1 ?22/15mm patient connector is compatible with all standard paediatric masks, LMA connectors, and size-appropriate ET tube connectors.
Supply Configuration
The CP carry bag configuration provides organised storage of all resuscitator components ? reducing setup time in emergency situations and ensuring no components are misplaced between deployments.
