Dual-Mode Weighing ? Adult and Infant

In standard adult mode, the MS6111 measures up to 250kg at 100g accuracy ? covering the full maternal and adult weight range for pregnancy monitoring and routine adult weighing. In infant mode, the scale switches to 10g graduation for children up to 20kg ? providing the fine measurement precision required for neonatal and infant weight monitoring, where small changes carry significant clinical meaning.

Infant Weighing Method ? Mother and Baby Together

The MS6111’s infant weighing mode uses a simple subtraction method: the mother weighs herself on the platform, then weighs herself again holding the baby. The scale automatically calculates and displays the infant’s weight ? without requiring the baby to be placed on the scale alone. This approach is practical, safe, and faster than traditional infant scales, particularly in the early postnatal period when precise infant weight is critical for feeding assessment and clinical documentation.

Low Profile Platform ? Safe While Carrying a Baby

The 45mm-high platform is specifically designed for easy step-on and step-off access, including when the mother is carrying an infant. Bluetooth Connectivity ? Charder ProScan App

Integrated Bluetooth transmits weight data directly to a PC or to the optional Charder thermal printer (TP2110), eliminating manual transcription and supporting electronic health record integration. The optional remote display (AR-2781) allows data to be viewed from a distance when the scale is used in a clinical workflow.

Dual-Sided LCD Display

The dual-sided LCD display is readable from both the patient and clinician sides simultaneously ? enabling the healthcare professional to observe the reading while the patient can also see their result, supporting clinical communication and patient engagement.

BMI Function, Hold, and Tare

The built-in BMI function calculates body mass index from the measured weight alongside entered height data. The Hold function locks the displayed reading for moving patients or infants. The Tare function zeroes out the weight of clothing or accessories before measurement.
