A disposable peak flow mouthpiece is the single-use part of a peak flow meter or spirometer that the patient breathes into. The VM-PFDMR is made to standard dimensions, with a 24mm inner diameter, a 30mm outer diameter and a length of 5cm. It fits adult and child peak flow meters, including the Rossmax PF120A and PF120C, and most spirometers with a compatible port size. It seats securely without adapters, and the airtight seal it gives is needed for accurate flow measurement. It comes in white or blue, so clinics can use colour coding to tell patient groups or devices apart in multi-patient environments.
