Commode – Height Adjust

Height-Adjustable Steel Commode for Precise Transfer Height Matching

The FS894 is a height-adjustable steel commode chair designed for users who require a bedside or bathroom toileting solution that can be precisely matched to their bed height, wheelchair seat height or toilet height to ensure safe, level transfers. Height adjustment is one of the most clinically important features in commode chair specification ? a commode seat set at the correct height for the user’s specific transfer pathway significantly reduces the effort and fall risk of each transfer, whereas a fixed-height commode may be too high or too low for the user’s bed or toilet, creating an unsafe step-up or step-down that adds fall risk at every use. The FS894’s adjustable frame allows the seat height to be set correctly for each user, improving both safety and transfer ease across the range of body heights and bed heights encountered in South African home and clinical care settings.

Compact, Practical Commode for Home and Ward Use

The FS894’s dimensions of 50?21?76cm provide a compact footprint for bedroom and bathroom use in standard South African residential and ward environments. The steel frame is robust, easy to clean and rated to 100kg weight capacity. At GW 6.2kg the chair is lightweight enough to be repositioned easily by the user or a single carer. The commode seat includes a splash-proof commode pan for easy emptying and cleaning after each use.
