The CMS5100 Patient Monitor (Contec) is a compact, portable vital-signs monitor delivering accurate, reliable readings across adult, paediatric and neonatal patients. It measures non-invasive blood pressure — systolic (SYS), diastolic (DIA) and mean arterial pressure (MAP) — using oscillometry, alongside SpO2 and pulse rate via photoelectric oxyhaemoglobin inspection with capacity pulse scanning. Vital signs are shown on a clear 2.8-inch (320×240) colour TFT LCD with red and yellow highlight LEDs, and adjustable visual and audible alarms with upper and lower limits keep clinicians informed at a glance. A built-in rechargeable lithium-polymer battery supports uninterrupted monitoring indoors or in transit, while onboard flash memory stores up to 2,000 NIBP and 78,000 SpO2 readings, with 24-hour NIBP and 20-hour SpO2/pulse-rate trend review. Its lightweight, user-friendly design suits general medicine, surgery, theatres, ICU/CCU, emergency, obstetrics, gynaecology and paediatrics — as well as community care and ambulance use.
