Three Independent Manual Functions — No Electricity Required

The K3K provides three independently operated manual adjustments via three retractable hand cranks: backrest elevation to 85°, knee-rest raise to 45°, and full bed height adjustment across a 310 mm range from 400 to 710 mm. Each crank is retractable, tucking flush with the bed frame when not in use to eliminate snagging hazards and maintain a clean ward profile. The crank mechanism is rated for a minimum of 100,000 uses, providing reliable long-term performance without the acquisition cost, electrical infrastructure, or maintenance overhead associated with motorised beds. Full functionality in environments without stable or accessible power supply makes the K3K particularly well suited to general wards, rural healthcare facilities, frail care settings, and resource-constrained environments.
