The E-8 Trauma Stretcher is a fully featured, clinical-grade patient stretcher engineered for emergency trauma care, patient transport, and procedural use in emergency departments, operating theatres, recovery rooms, and procedure suites. Its combination of height adjustability, multi-position backrest and knee break, Trendelenburg tilt, X-ray translucency, and a 2500N safe working load makes it one of the most versatile and capable stretchers in its class.
Height Adjustable for Safe Patient Handling
The E-8 adjusts in height from 600mm to 920mm (±10mm), providing a low transfer height that simplifies safe patient loading from ambulance trolleys and ground level, and a raised working height that reduces clinician strain during assessment, resuscitation, and procedural care. Height adjustment supports ergonomic clinical workflows and complies with manual handling best practices.
Gas Spring Backrest — 0 to 85°
The backrest adjusts from flat (0°) to near-upright (85°) via a smooth gas spring mechanism, allowing patients to be positioned for airway management, respiratory support, conscious sedation, or sitting comfort without jerky or uncontrolled movement. The ±5° tolerance ensures precise, repeatable positioning across the full range.
Manual Crank Knee Break — 0 to 30°
The knee break section adjusts from 0° to 30° via a manual crank, enabling semi-Fowler and other supportive lower-limb positioning configurations — improving patient comfort during extended procedures and supporting venous return in compromised patients.
Trendelenburg & Reverse Trendelenburg via Foot Pedal
The entire stretcher surface tilts forward and backward — controlled via foot pedals on both sides of the stretcher — enabling rapid Trendelenburg positioning for shock management and reverse Trendelenburg for airway protection or respiratory compromise, without the clinician needing to reposition away from the patient.
X-Ray Translucent Top Board
The top board is manufactured from X-ray translucent material, allowing imaging to be performed directly on the stretcher without the need to transfer the patient to a separate radiology table. This is a critical safety and efficiency feature in trauma care, where unnecessary patient movement can worsen injuries.
Galvanized Steel Frame with Powder Coat Finish
The main frame is constructed from galvanized steel tube coated with an electrostatic powder spray — providing strong corrosion resistance, a durable easy-clean surface, and the structural integrity required to safely support patients up to the 2500N safe working load throughout the full range of height and positional adjustments.
Suitable For:
Emergency departments, trauma bays, operating theatres, recovery rooms, procedure rooms, and patient transport within healthcare facilities.
