Height adjustment runs from 665 to 950 mm via a foot-operated hydraulic pedal, providing a 285 mm working range to match clinician posture during delivery, perineal repair, and postnatal examination. Backrest articulation from 0 to 70° (±5°) is controlled by gas spring, allowing the patient to be repositioned from flat to near-seated for second-stage labour, breastfeeding positioning, or post-delivery monitoring. Trendelenburg and reverse Trendelenburg tilt reach 14° (±2°) via gas spring, supporting active management of hypotension, placental delivery positioning, and head-of-bed elevation for respiratory comfort.

Telescopic Working Table, Mattress, and Obstetric Accessories

The telescopic working table extends 550 mm, controlled by linear bearing for smooth, precise movement. The leg section slides away to expose the perineal working area during delivery, and adjustable leg supports with a sliding grip holder are included for patient positioning during the second stage. The mattress is high-density sponge covered in artificial leather — body section thickness 8 cm, telescopic section thickness 14 cm — providing cushioning without excessive compression that could compromise patient positioning. A large drain bucket is supplied for fluid collection during delivery. ABS head and side boards provide impact-resistant surround protection, with hand grips fitted for patient use during active labour.

Frame Construction and Mobility

The bed frame is fabricated from steel with an epoxy powder-coat finish, providing corrosion resistance and a surface compatible with routine hospital-grade cleaning agents. Four 125 mm castors allow ward-level repositioning between rooms or to operating theatre.
