Child mode is activated via a single-button switch on the device, which adjusts energy levels and reconfigures CPR guidance to a 15:2 ratio appropriate for paediatric patients — and the pre-connected AED Disposable Pads II are suitable for use in both adult and child mode without requiring a separate set of paediatric electrodes.
