Airway, Breathing, and Resuscitation Equipment
The BLS kit addresses the primary survey priorities of airway and breathing with a full set of 8 Guedel oropharyngeal airways (one of each size 000?5) covering neonates through adults, two adult and two paediatric oxygen masks with tubing, two adult and two paediatric nebuliser masks, a mucus extractor, and a complete adult resuscitator. A CPR mouthpiece supports safe rescue breathing in lay responder situations. This airway inventory equips a first responder to manage obstruction, support ventilation, and deliver oxygen or nebulised medication across the full patient age spectrum ? without returning to a fixed facility for equipment.

Wound Care, Bandaging, and Trauma Management
Wound management supplies include first aid dressings in sizes No. 2, 3, and 5 (four of each), conforming bandages in 50mm, 75mm, and 100mm widths, two 100mm burn dressings, crepe bandage, triangular bandages, plaster strips, two plaster rolls, cotton wool, gauze swabs (100’s), saline solution (2 ? 10ml), paper tape, a set of safety pins, stainless steel forceps, budget scissors (100mm), and rescue scissors (160mm). Two plastic lock-on leg splints support limb immobilisation in suspected fracture scenarios. Five pairs of latex examination gloves provide infection barrier protection throughout.

Vital Signs, Venous Access, and Obstetric Readiness
A pocket aneroid blood pressure meter, stethoscope, pupil torch, and digital thermometer enable full baseline vital signs assessment in the field. Venous access consumables ? 18G and 21G hypodermic needles (4 of each) and 5ml syringes (4) ? support IV drug administration and fluid access. Obstetric emergency items include two maternity delivery pads and three umbilical cord clamps. Two linen savers, two rescue blankets, a tourniquet, and 20 alcohol swabs complete the kit for a trauma or obstetric scene. All contents are packed in a dedicated BLS bag.
