The Alcoscan AL-6000 Lite is a handheld, CE-approved portable breath alcohol tester designed for accurate, on-the-spot breath alcohol concentration measurement. Equipped with an oxide semiconductor sensor, it operates in two modes: Normal Mode (0.00%?0.40% BAC or 0.00?2.00 mg/l BrAC) and Fast Mode, which gives an instant Zero/Lo/Hi indication for rapid screening. Results display in under 5 seconds on a clear 3-digit LED, and the unit auto-shuts off after 1 minute to preserve battery life.
Compact and Easy to Carry
Weighing 115g (batteries included) and measuring 125?58?41mm, the AL-6000 Lite fits easily in a pocket, bag, or vehicle glove box. It runs on two 1.5V AA alkaline batteries included in the box, delivering approximately 200 readings per set of batteries. Sensor life extends to approximately 300 readings.

Warm-up time is within 25 seconds, making the AL-6000 Lite ready to test quickly after switching on. The 10?40?C operating temperature range suits South African indoor and outdoor conditions. Five disposable mouthpieces are included for hygienic testing ? replacement mouthpieces are available separately.
